Moose Dawa (born Mushtak Awad) is a 24 year old producer hailing from Malmö, Sweden. The music he creates can be described as instrumental hip hop/chill hop with sample-based roots in soul and jazz with an atmospheric vibe to it. His sounds has a tendency to create a groovy and relaxed soundscape which has contributed to the characteristical feeling to the music. Since he started producing in 2008, he has released 4 ep´s and a beat-tape giving you a taste of his creativity in the world of sounds.

Moose Dawa - My Mind
For me everything started back in 2000 whenmy friend Cristian showed me the documentary called Scratch ,about the turntablism culture.
There I saw Dj Qbert for the first time, which had a big influence over me and this was the reason why i started scratching and mixing.
In 2007, after collecting the money for his tools, I joined the 10 Tone band's project named Declaration of War with some scratches and breaks.
I started producing beats in 2009, influenced by important producers like J Dilla, Kev Brown, Madlib, Elaquent, Ohbliv, Snakehips, Samiyam, Flying Lotus and others.
